VIDEO CLIPS: Students are required to bring a Standard SD Card to classes & workshops so they may review their work outside of class.
* Teens are allowed to leave during the workshop for auditions or any other reasons and come back after.


We are thrilled to announce our Teen Summer Camp Intensive! This challenging camp will include Buffoonery, Career & Audition tips, and On Camera work with Jennifer Copping and Stellina Rusich. The week will be capped off with a Casting Director Workshop with Bim Narine. Teen actors will explore and hone their craft in a safe supportive and professional environment.

Trilby Jeeves

Trilby Jeeves is an actor, instructor, and writer living Vancouver, Canada.

Trilby Jeeves was the first English student to be theatrically trained in her second language for 3 years at the notable “Le Conservatoire d’Art Dramatique” in Quebec City. She went on to perform and direct in both languages across Canada, eventually returning to Vancouver.

As well as performing up to 40 plays, she worked for over 30 years in the theatre, (Confederation Centre Theatre in PEI, The National Arts Centre, The Banff Centre) and film industry as a set costumer/supervisor working on T.V. series such as “SuperNatural”, “IZombie”, “Highlander”, Spielberg’s “Taken”, Paramount’s “Higher Ground”; feature films such as Disney’s “Angels In The EndZone”, and “The Lizzie McGuire Movie”,” Universal’s “Snow Falling On Cedars” and many more.

Trilby’s directing debut was for the Victoria Playhouse in PEI with “Ned & Jack” by Sheldon Rosen. Later, she directed the Canadian premiere of “Les Monologues du Vagin” in Vancouver, two years running, “The Importance of Being Oscar”, and “The Memory of Water” for First Impressions Theatre.

She has taught classes in improvisation throughout the school system in British Columbia, en Français, and is currently teaching her own popular “Buffoonery Acting Workshop” in Canada, and has taught in Puerto Rico. She worked with colleague Peter D. Marshall co-creating and teaching film-acting/directing workshops, in Vancouver, Shanghai and Singapore. Her Buffoonery Acting classes are part of the curriculum of the one year acting program at VanArts (Vancouver Institute of Media Arts) and as a mid-term workshop for the directing students at Vancouver Film School. Buffoonery Teambuilding became another avenue for this fun workshop. Some organizations that Trilby has worked with include: North Shore Compass, Arts Umbrella, SaskFilm, Living Vision Retreat, Living Big Retreat, Canadian Mental Health Association, SFU, Native Education College and more.

As a writer, Trilby enjoys story editing, blogging, poetry, and playwriting, and the creation of her one-woman show. She performed Dusty Shoes, based on her own experience with a back operation, in Regina, Edmonton and Prince Edward Island.

As an actor, she has also worked for the Vancouver Film School for the directing and writing departments. For the last 23 years, Trilby has used her acting skills to role play for the Medical department at UBC, and the Nurse Practitioners from class room situations through to licensing exams.

Trilby is passionate about communicating effectively in a world that is full of distractions. She brings her communication skills of teaching, acting, writing, and directing to every day.

Jennifer Copping

Jennifer Copping is a multiple nominee and winner of awards for her work as an actress over her 30 year plus career. Her passion for performing began at a very young age and she has continued to study and hone her craft as an actor, director , teacher , mentor and theatre creator. Some career highlights are:

Stellina Rusich

Stellina Rusich has had a rewarding and varied career in the arts. Over her 30 year career she has worked in all facets of the acting industry.
First as a performer, then as a Director, Composer Teacher and acting coach. She’ taught the Full time acting program at Schoolcreative, (now Vancouver Acting School) for six years as well as maintaining a private coaching business. She has appeared in over 60 commercials and numerous Stage, TV and Film roles.

Most notable TV & Film credits include: Terminal City, Carpool with David Paymer, Unforgettable opposite Ray Liotta, and Tony Shalhoub’s wife on Monk, the Television series.

Stage performances include: Amadeus, Merchant of Venice, Are You Lonesome Tonight, Women in Bed, Night of the Iguana, Little Shop of Horrors, Dark of the Moon, Pal Joey, Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, The Sunshine Boys, Anne of Green Gables, Kiss Me Kate, and many others.

These performances have taken her from the Cincinnati Playhouse, to the Citadel Theatre, Stratford Festival, Stage West, Charlottetown Festival, and the North Pole. Directing Credits include: Almost Maine, Mental the Musical, Stiff Cuffs, Italian American Reconciliation, Four Dogs and a Bone, Twenty Something, Pizza Man, Farewell Ambrosia, Misconduct and many School Creative and VAS showcases.

Stellina has been a dialogue coach for the past 7 years on ‘Mr. Young’, ’SomeAssembly Required’, 2 sit-coms produced by Thunderbird Productions and has been the acting coaching for Mech X4 season one, produced by Disney and currently being shot in Maple Ridge and Abbostford B.C.

Bim Narine

Casting for 12 years, Bim Narine has brought his skills to hundreds of commercials, dozens of feature films, television series, music videos, reality series, and short films.

By working on a variety of projects throughout the years, and as well, through his technical knowledge, he has been able to effectively determine the best solutions to cast the right people, and make the casting process more efficient and streamlined for all involved.

Tuesday July 2 Day one: The Buffoonery Workshop with Trilby Jeeves
In this 6 hour introductory, ice-breaking workshop we will:
1) Create a safe place with story sharing
2) Imitate, dance and become a team
3) Learn the essence of Le Bouffon through movement
4) Crack open everyone’s bouffon and laugh
5) Story tell with the new found bouffon freedom

Saturday July 6 Day 5: Casting Director Workshop with Bim Narine
Actor perform prepared scenes for Bim. Bim will provide feedback on performances as well as share his casting process.
