Vancouver & Canada are getting more and more comedies like a new comedy TV series call Ink starring Ted Danson which is shooting in Vancouver, Package Deal, Detour, GABBY DURAN AND THE UNSITTABLES, Pup Academy, and The Jan Arden Show. With this in mind, Howard Nemetz is coming from LA to work with Vancouver actors on comedy! He is currently working on a exciting new single cam comedy series called ‘The Temple’, that he wrote.

Howard Nemetz was born and raised in Montreal, and has lived in Toronto and now lives in Los Angeles. He has been funny since he was four years old, and has been making a living at it since he was twenty-two, starting as a stand up comic about a month before he graduated from McGill University in Montreal, Howard has worked on many live action and animation, single- and multi-camera shows, kids’ shows, family shows and more adult-themed ones, traditional sitcoms and mockumentaries.
Howard’s credits include Canadian programming, such as Mosquito Lake, The Blobheads, An American in Canada, and Stanley Dynamic, Package Deal to wildly popular American shows, Smart Guy, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and Police Academy. Howard was the Show Runner on a CBC show, Sophie, which also aired on ABC Family. He was the Executive Producer/Head Writer/ Director of “Mr. Young,” a YTV/Disney XD sitcom, and the Executive Producer/Co-Creator/Head Writer/ Director of the immensely popular YTV/Netflix.

Stellina Rusich has had a rewarding and varied career in the arts. Over her 35 year career she has worked in all facets of the acting industry. First as a performer, then as a Director, Composer, Teacher and Acting Coach. She taught the Full time acting program at School Creative, (now Vancouver Acting School) for six years as well as maintaining a private coaching business.
She has appeared in over 60 commercials and numerous Stage, TV and Film roles. Most notable TV & Film credits include: Terminal City, Carpool with David Paymer, Unforgettable opposite Ray Liotta, and Tony Shalhoub’s wife on Monk, the Television series.
Stage performances include: Amadeus, Merchant of Venice, Are You Lonesome Tonight, Women in Bed, Night of the Iguana, Little Shop of Horrors, Dark of the Moon, Pal Joey, Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, The Sunshine Boys, Anne of Green Gables, Kiss Me Kate, and many others. These performances have taken her from the Cincinnati Playhouse, to the Citadel Theatre, Stratford Festival, Stage West, Charlottetown Festival, and the North Pole.
Directing Credits include: Almost Maine, Mental the Musical, Stiff Cuffs, Italian American Reconciliation, Four Dogs and a Bone, Twenty Something, Pizza Man, Farewell Ambrosia, Misconduct and many School Creative and VAS showcases.
Stellina has been a dialogue coach for the past 7 years on ‘Mr. Young’ , ’SomeAssembly Required’, 2 sit-coms produced by Thunderbird Productions Mech X4 season one, and Fast Layne produced by Disney and shot in Maple Ridge and Abbostford B.C.
Saturday March 2nd:

- 10am-3pm | Comedic scenes presented to Howard
